Ένα με τον καναπέ - Couch Bound

Αρχικά, ο εν νλόγω καναπές:

Ζω πάνω του την τελευταία εβδομάδα. Πλέον έχουμε παραγνωριστεί ;)

Αν κανείς τα τελευταία χρόνια χρόνια μου ζητούσε να του περιγράψω τον τρόπο ζωής μου σίγουρα θα του απαντούσα, κάνω καθιστική ζωή. Και θα του έλεγα ψέματα. Γιατί ζούσα σε ένα όνειρο!

Εδώ και μία εβδομάδα με έχει πιάσει η μέση μου. Και κυριολεκτώ! Με έπιασε για τα καλά και δεν λέει να με αφήσει. Τις πρώτες μέρες ήμουν σε άρνηση: " ΟΧΙ, δεν έχω κάτι. Μία μικρή ενόχληση είναι." Και συνέχισα κανονικά. Κάτι που έκανε τα πράγματα ακόμη χειρότερα. Οπότε "δέθηκα" με τον καναπέ. Ειλικρινά ό,τι κι αν μου περνούσε από το μυαλό να κάνω για να απασχοληθώ έπρεπε να είμαι είτε όρθια είτε πολύ δραστήρια. Το πλέξιμο δεν ήταν καθόλου ευχάριστο καθώς ενέτεινε τους πόνους μου. 

Τώρα, θέλω να πιστεύω, ότι βρίσκομαι στην ανάρρωση. Προσπαθώ να βρώ μία ισορροπία που προς το παρόν δείχνει πολύ εύθραυστη. 

Ο χρόνος θα δείξει...

First things first, the aforementioned couch:

I have been living on him for almost a week. I truly believe we are the best of friends now. 

In recent years if anyone asked how I would describe an average day of mine I would most probably have answered that I live a sedentary life. Turns out I would have lied! Because I was living in a dream. I can now personally confirm that I am on my feet for the most part of my day. 

How I changed my mind you asked? I have severe back pains for almost a week now. It is at least painful to stand and I don't even want to think about taking a walk. I am bound to be sitting or reclining. The first three days I was in denial. "NO, there is nothing wrong;I can go on with my daily routine just fine". Trying to do just that, not only made things worse, but convinced me that I really have a hard time sitting. I could not thing of even one thing that could entertain me that did not involve me being active. I tried knitting to no avail... 

So now that I seem to be recovering I just try to find a balance.

Time will tell...
